What your building needs, from one local team.
Start with the one you need today. The crew that installs it is the same one you call when something needs attention later.
HOA Gate Intercom
Residents answer the gate on their phones. The board runs doors, passes and residents from one portal.

Drivers scan the label and the kiosk picks a shelf. Residents get a text and a map to their box.

Cat6A, fiber, switching and Wi-Fi, tested end to end. You get the test reports and drawings at closeout.

Monitoring, remote fixes and a help desk run by the people who built your network.
See how it worksHOA gate access and video intercom your community owns.
A gate video intercom and access platform built for HOAs and condo buildings. Residents answer the gate full-screen on their phones, the board runs everything from one portal, and there are no per-unit monthly platform fees.
The mailroom pile, solved.
A touchscreen kiosk at the package room door. The driver taps their carrier and scans the label, and the screen tells them which shelf to use. The resident gets a notification in seconds with a map of the room showing where their box is.
Data networks with the test reports to prove it.
Cat6A and fiber backbone, switching, firewalls and enterprise Wi-Fi, designed and pulled by our own crews. Every copper run is tested on a Fluke DSX 8000 and every fiber gets an OTDR trace. The test reports and as-built drawings are yours at closeout.
IT support from the team that built your network.
We keep an eye on the firewalls, switches and access points we install, and a lot of problems get fixed remotely before anyone has to drive out. When you need a hand, open a ticket in our support portal or call us, and a local tech who already knows your site picks it up.
Everything your infrastructure needs.
One certified team.
Cabling, fiber, Wi-Fi, networking, cameras and access control, planned as one project by one crew. You get a single point of contact and a single set of test reports and drawings when we hand it over.

Trusted across Chicagoland.
Hear from the businesses we’ve served across the Chicago metro area.
AIT redesigned our entire network, ran Cat6A to every desk, and deployed 24 cameras — all on time, on budget, with zero disruption. The test reports they left behind were better than anything our previous contractor produced.
The access control system AIT installed across our three clinic locations is exactly what we needed — mobile credentials, time-based schedules, full audit trails. Clean install, excellent training, fast support response.
AIT ran OS2 fiber between our two buildings and the throughput improvement was immediate. OTDR reports were clean, fusion splices were below 0.1 dB — these guys clearly know their craft.
We’ve worked with three different low-voltage contractors over the years. AIT is the only one that showed up on time, finished on schedule, tested every single port, and left us with documentation we could actually use. They’ve earned every future project in our portfolio.
Everything you need to know.
AIT Communication Group serves the entire Chicago metropolitan area, including Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, and Will counties in Illinois, as well as northwest Indiana. We serve both commercial and industrial clients across Chicagoland from our office in Lombard, IL.
Project timelines vary based on scope. A small office (24–48 ports) typically takes 1–2 days. A mid-size office (96–288 ports) takes 3–7 days. Enterprise buildouts are scoped individually. All timelines and milestone dates are specified in your written proposal before any work begins.
Yes — every project includes complete documentation: port-by-port test reports (Fluke DSX 8000 for copper, OTDR traces for fiber), cable schedules, rack elevation diagrams, as-built floor plans, and equipment manuals. All documentation is delivered digitally in PDF format at project closeout.
Yes. All copper cabling is tested and certified to TIA/EIA-568 standards using Fluke DSX 8000 testers. Fiber runs are OTDR-certified from both ends. Access control installations meet UL 294 Level 1 standards. Wireless deployments are validated with post-installation heat maps and RF analysis reports.
Absolutely. Many clients come to us with existing infrastructure they want to modernize. We offer retrofit and upgrade services for cabling (re-termination, recertification), wireless (overlay on existing runs), access control (Wiegand reader compatibility), and cameras (analog-to-IP migration). A site assessment tells us exactly what can be reused.
